Christmas Giveaway #1
December 4, 2009 · 23 comments
Giving is the spirit of Christmas, so to honor that spirit, I’m giving away three books. This week the book is Sweet Scoops by Shelly Kaldunski.
All you need to do to enter this week’s giveaway is comment on this post. Next Friday morning I’ll select a winner from among those who’ve commented and announce the second book I’ll be giving away. I’ll mail the book anywhere in the world.
Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

This book would give me a terrific reason to buy an ice cream machine!
Just inherited an old ice cream maker from my in-laws (who somehow had three of them in the garage?), will have to check out this book regardless of who gets it.
This looks like a terrific cookbook. I have an ice cream machine at home, and this would give provide great ideas one new flavors I haven’t tried.
this looks great thanks
I’m a sorbet making girl, but I’m willing to branch out. Just the cover photo has me intrigued
I love frozen treats!
Looks great. I’ll have to get an ice cream maker though.
Me, me, meeeeeee!
Great giveaway!
The cover items look delicious!!!
I love making frozen treats!
I don’t have this one yet, I’d love to check it out!
I would love to have a copy!
Since the size of ice cream containers keep shrinking, I’ve started making my own and it taste so much better.
What a great book!! Even tho’ it’s Winter…Ice cream tastes good anytime!!
Yes please, sounds like a great book.
Great idea to reflect the holiday spirit through giveaways! Looks like a great book to add to the collection
I’m one of the few people who thinks ice cream is a perfect Winter dessert — call me crazy, but I think this is the perfect time of year for this giveaway!!
YUM. I just bought an ice cream maker, and the recipe for vanilla ice cream instructed me to combine boiling milk and raw eggs. I was naive enough not to realize that this would result in scrambled egg ice cream. I need a book like this to set me straight and recover from the disaster!
I love ice cream! The book looks fun. Thanks!
Would you believe that, despite having had my ice cream bowl attachment for my KitchenAid for almost six months now, I’ve STILL rarely used the thing? I really do need to make an effort to break it out more, even if it means that I need to have people over to do so if I want sugar-free frozen yogurt rather than ice cream. Maybe this book would have some tips on how to do so without making a solid brick?
